Apple TV…Netflix Competitor?

Hey what’s up guys, I know it’s been a long time since I last posted but bear with me, I got something really big coming up pretty soon, that I cannot say anything about. I’ll let you guys know through my Instagram (@iamzackroy) or Twitter (@zacksnotes).

So, let’s get on with today’s blog. Today, it’s about the new Apple TV application, that just came out in iOS 12.3 that you can download right now.

Let’s first see how you can get the iOS 12.3 update.

  • Go to settings
  • General
  • Software Update
  • Tap on “Check for updates” if it does not shows automatically
  • Then, tap on “Download & Install”
  • & then it will automatically be downloaded.
  • If the Apple TV app doesn’t shows automatically, go to the App Store & search for “Apple TV” & then download it.

Now, we get into the topic of Apple TV. Now, there is no real subscription or anything like Netflix, it’s just if you wanna watch some specific channels, you gotta pay for it. For example, if you wanna watch HBO, you gotta pay for only HBO separately, not Apple TV (as a whole). In India, by the way, the only thing that you can do right now, is you can either buy or rent a movie much like Google’s Play Movies.

So, if you’re thinking to close your Netflix or Hulu subscription because of Apple TV, then, I’d suggest don’t, cause, it’s just not that mature yet. It’s more like a place for downloading 4K movies at cheap rate, you get the idea.

So, with that I end this blog today, I’ll be offline most of the time & will not be posting as much because I got some work to sort out & also got some really big projects & plans, but I’ll try to be active as much as I can. Hope to see you guys around. Peace!
